We’ve gotten pounded with rain in the Midwest in the past few days. As much as I grumbled last night at 4 a.m. when I went downstairs to vacuum up the small trickles of water I knew were collecting in the basement paint room, I AM grateful that we didn’t have any real water problem. Many of my friends fared much worse, and for that I’m truly sorry.
On the plus side, probably everyone else’s gardens are looking even better than mine (which is in dire need of weeding). My potted flowers have sprung back to life and are looking vibrant again. I’m reminded…
