Happy 4th of July!

I recently attended the Milwaukee Bead and Button Show where I purchased some gorgeous strands of green amethyst and rock crystal briolettes.  Although other projects at the bench and drafting table have kept me from getting to “play” with my new gems, design ideas are always percolating in my brain.

I came up with the following quick sketch yesterday evening:

From here I turned to CAD to further flesh out the pattern I had in mind:

And then CAD-rendered the earrings with ear wires and briolette gemstones:

These earrings are currently in progress at my bench.  I’m headed there now and plan to create my own fireworks with torch in hand shortly.
