My Favorite Things – A Look Back to My Saturday Stroll in Central Park

There’s nothing better than a stroll through Central Park on a sunny afternoon at the peak of the fall colors! ย Here is a pictorial record of my “journey” this past Saturday:

Looking through the grillwork of a gazebo:

  1. Wish you were here with me, too! We could buy a box of Go Lean Crunch and MAYBE share it while sitting on a park bench (ya never know, I might hog it all for myself;-)

Time to get out of the public library. The natives are getting restless and I’ve had it with the yelling and swearing from the “youth table.”

  2. Thanks for the wonderful photos. I particularly like the one from the gazebo. I have been wearing my Joana Miranda necklace for the past few days on my trip to Burlington and it was quite a hit.

    • Hi Pam,

Glad you liked the photos! The weather in NY has really been sublime. I was walking in the park again today with a friend and the trees were still beautiful. It’s pretty windy, though, so I think many leaves will be coming down this weekend.

I’m glad you are enjoying your pendant! Hope you had fun in Burlington – one of my favorite towns!

  3. Am I the only one who sees a job opportunity in these photos? :->

    • Wait, which job opportunity are you referring to? Playing my viola by the Bethesda fountain or taking pictures?;-)

I think I really did take those pictures at the peak of the colors. Today turned windy and quite cold, and many trees are looking much more bare now.

Probably not as chilly here as it is where you are though…

      Take care,
      Joana

        • Yes, that IS a thought, although I’d probably need to invest in an “outdoor special” viola…

Just got a gig for the end of November with City Opera (indoors);-) Yay!

          All best wishes,
          Joana
