After advancing to the finals in an orchestra audition yesterday and then not getting chosen for the job, I needed time to decompress today.  For me, there’s nothing better than being outside in the fresh air.  Add to that the vibrancy of being in NY, and you have a great cure for the blues.

Here’s what I saw on my stroll:

High fashion rain gear, or is it just a rumpled newspaper?

An “action shot” of the feet and high heels of actress Stephanie March (who happened to be walking just in front of me up 6th Avenue)…

Joana, that is well, WONDERFUL! Advancing to the finals, I mean. The difference between the finals and getting the job is nothing you can do anything about. I could go on for pages on that topic… so congratulations! You deserve it!

    • Hi Pam,

Thanks so much! I’m going to fill you in on the details in an email now…have fallen behind in just about everything this week, but I DID enjoy the pictures you sent!

      🙂 Joana

    • Hi ya, Ma,

I wonder if you’ll get this reply…I’m sending it in a different window on my blog. Still can’t quite figure out why you no longer get a notification when I write back here.

      Love you,
