    • Sim, ela esta feliz porque o marido vai voltar hoje! But she’s also struggling still to find her “voice” in her paintings. You know when you’re trying to do something you see vaguely in your mind, but it’s just not coming out near what you imagine? That’s where I’m at right now.

So, I’ll keep plugging away at it. If I’ve learned anything in my life, it’s that you get better the longer you work at something!

I hope you have a lovely week, Pedro! (Os meus Tios vem a Nova Iorque amanha, e vao ter jantar conosco no Sabado. Vou fazer Bacalhau a Ze do Pipo outra vez.)

      Ate ja –

  1. Oh my God! You’re right;-)

I showed her to an artist friend recently and he said her face “needs a lot of work.” Should I schedule her for a face lift? Botox?

(Actually, I know what he means. I’m still striving for something I’m not yet getting.)

How are things going in the land of Empress Barrettes? I’ll pop on over and see what’s new.

    Ciao –

    • Not much new at the moment….I’ve been so distracted, what with WI politics on the one hand, the new CD on the other hand, and taking desperate stabs at getting taxes ready, that I’ve added almost nothing new to the shop lately, and only made a few little bobby pins for the gallery. I have a vacation, or staycation, next week. Perhaps I’ll get some work done, then!
