My Favorite Things – On a Cold Winter’s Eve in New York City…

Trees, now barren of leaves, lit the sky with brazen energy.

Neon reflections created molten puddles on dark office windows…

While below, pedestrians were encircled with light.

Food carts released steam and inviting aromas…

And reflections magically enhanced a photograph in this store window.

As I looked past the lights towards the dark sky…

I saw the moon…

And I knew everything was right.
