Mirror Mirror…Making the Most of a New Environment to Work on My Illustrations

I’m currently working away from home.  Since this is music-related work, I’ve got less time for my illustrations, and no drafting table or supplies (other than paper, my pencils, a ruler and a kneaded eraser.)  But sometimes being out of one’s comfort zone is just the ticket to get the creative juices flowing.  Today, as I sat at the hotel desk pondering what to sketch, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and thought…

What would Josephine see if she looked in the mirror?

And then…

Why not put her on her very own mirror!

Although my first draft has promise, this is still very much a work in progress.

Hope you’ll come back soon to see the next installment!
