My Favorite Things – A Bugged Life

You might be surprised to learn that I live in a bugged apartment.

From my watering can…

And refrigerator magnets…

To candles…

And miniature toys…

There’s not a room in our apartment that doesn’t have a ladybug lurking somewhere!

I’ve got not one…

But two doll house ladybug teapots…

And a multitude of ladybug timers.

A ladybug mug is the perfect storage container for my art pens…

And I’m entertained by my very own ladybug band!

When the day draws to a close, a cuddly version awaits to bid me goodnight.

Why the fascination with ladybugs, you may ask?

In addition to being a symbol of good luck and love, in my native Portugal “Joaninha” is both the name for a ladybug and a pet name (diminutive) for Joana.

Signing off for now…

    Tens um verdadeiro exercito…
    beijinhos

    • Julita!

      Joana
