My Favorite Things – On the Pond

We just got back from a quick trip to New Hampshire to see my mom on the pond.  Which pond?  Where?

I invite you to pull up a chair and join me on a virtual tour.

two red chairs on Goose Pond

To a pond that is as lovely in the sun…

diamonds on the water

As it is in the shade.

sunlight through the trees

A pond that looks just as pretty on a cloudy day…

across Goose Pond

As it does in the mist…

paddle boarding on the pond

And at dusk.

looking towards the dam

A pond where life slows down…

speed boat at the dock

And looking at the water is sufficient entertainment!

  1. So lovely! New England countryside is so idyllic. Thanks for posting the pix.

    • Hi Helen,

Andy and I went up for just a quick visit – but an important one, since it was my mom’s 70th birthday.:-) We’ll be back for a longer stay towards the end of July, so I’ll be sure to get lots more pictures (and hopefully more sunny days!)

Thanks for your response on Instagram regarding how you did the photo of the flower lapel pin with the white background. I’ll check out the site soon!

    • Hi Meh-meh,

Yes, I did omit the driveway, but it wouldn’t exactly have fit in with the nature theme, now would it?;-)

Please order up lots more sun for when we next visit. And some romantic fog would also be nice (but no more rain, please.) xox – J
