  1. Very cute! Happy Labor Day from the MKE Altoids.

    • Hi MKE Altoidess,

Thanks for your nice comment as always (and for your Instagram “likes” as well!) I know you told me years ago to get on Instagram…don’t know why it took me so long to “see the light”, but I really am enjoying being there. 🙂

It’s still hot here, and will be getting even hotter again mid-week before it cools down a bit again. Hope the weather is nice in Milwaukee. When do you go back to viola-ing at the MSO?

      A big hug, Joana

  2. Back tomorrow with Edo and Cosi Fan Tutte. It was really hot here the last two days, you are getting our heat. Cooler weather forecast for the next few days. Glad you are starting to enjoy IG. Why do you think you resisted for so long?

    • Hi Helen,

Mainly, my fear was that it would be easy for people to “steal” my images. However, since IG is mainly phone oriented (and photo oriented) I see that it unlikely that anyone would want to reproduce a *photo* of my illustrations. That said, every once in a while I am posting scans. Have to remember to keep them somewhat cropped so that it’s not as tempting to reproduce. Does that make sense?

Happy “back-to-school” for tomorrow. The music to Cosi is sublime. I played many performances of it in Germany when I was there with the Eastman program at Heidelberg. Such fun I had those summers…:-)
