From My Sketchbook – Week 31

Earlier this week I spent a pleasureful  afternoon volunteering with New York Cares.  At the end of the session, I had a few minutes free, so I pulled out my sketchbook and did this sketch:

Later, on my way to meet my husband for a frozen yogurt, I stopped on the sidewalk to sketch:

It’s not that often these days that you see smokers in the city, but as I waited outside the yogurt place this smoker’s pose struck me as interesting and remarkably sultry:

  1. These are great! I can see things getting more spontaneous, does that make sense?

    • Absolutely! That’s what I’m going for (and have been going for…but it’s obviously a looooong road!)

Hope you are having a great Labor Day.:-)
