From My Sketchbook – A Slice of Humanity From New York’s MTA

I’ve been riding the subway A LOT these past weeks.  And I’m delighted to report that I finally wised up and started purchasing weekly passes instead of just putting a chunk of change on my metro card and riding “pay as you go.”  The upside to adding time to your metro card is that you have unlimited rides within the time frame you choose.  Which means that using your card feels like having free money…and who doesn’t like that?  I’ve also had fun, as usual, looking for interesting faces to sketch.  This week I stuck more to the cartoon style I’ve been embracing of late.
