From My Sketchbook – The Long and Short of It

These days as I’m looking for subjects to sketch, I usually go for the more interesting and unusual face types.  As you can see from the sketches below, my subject’s faces this week ranged from long, to rectangular and even slightly squat-shaped.   (I’m pleased to say that as I sketched the woman with the sunglasses and leopard print coat below, a fellow passenger watched from over my shoulder and gave me a big smile and a thumb’s up.)
