Hoffnung did fabulous musician cartoons. It’s hard to top his, but at least I have the benefit of having firsthand experience in the trenches. The August cartoon from my 2017 calendar also features a musician…and it just happens to be one of my favorite illustrations in the calendar. But I won’t be publishing it until after August 1st. You’ll just have to wait ’til then. Hee-hee!
