The most seen expression on the subways these days…
One way I stay focused during the long pauses at Wicked…
She was lost in thoughts,
Clearly tied up in knots.
Perhaps she had the blues,
(Or didn’t like her shoes.)
A life in music is a gift indeed,
Though much is required in order to succeed.
Focus, determination and passion are best,
A sprinkling of luck will take care of the rest.
I wish you knew my mother,
She’s not like any other.
Full of vim and vigor,
(No one’s heart is bigger.)
His expression was fraught,
In the pose that I caught.
So I channeled good will
Through the lines of my quill.
When the subway’s running late,
You may be antsy with the wait.
So close your eyes, expel some air,
And time will pass without a care.
Another of the interesting faces I sketched on my subway travels…
I should have taken my own advice since I obviously didn’t keep bundled up enough and now I’m sneezy!
The sparkles on her hat
Were clear from where I sat.
So sketch away I did
As she peered through her lid.
