When I started out to write this post earlier this afternoon,
my idea was to tackle the concept of tyrant tutors and dealing with criticism.
But the more I wrote, the more convoluted my thoughts became.
Somewhere in there, I figured I should also talk about
and the importance of holding one’s beliefs lightly.
(Which made me wonder if any of my beliefs were all that important.)
In conclusion, I may have nothing to say,
but I will always strive to have something to give.
“We only have what we give.”
After months of dormancy, my orchid recently produced a miracle of sorts…sprouting not just one, but two stalks of blooms!
Meanwhile, given that my free time these past few weeks has all but evaporated, I’m having to remind myself that a little practice on my illustrations is better than nothing. I might not be producing anything remotely miraculous any time soon, but I believe….

My small step for today:
